yes...well they are called romper suits most of the time.....I needed them when my lo was too long for his 3-6 stuff but was sooo skinny in the next lot up!!!

hth

misdee · 22/11/2004 20:59

i have some here. but need them. will check labels to see where they are from.

how about a nightdress? i have got one for #3 and think its great, dh is moaning that if its a boy there is no way its gonna wear a nightdress lol.

Soppy · 22/11/2004 21:01

Actually I should've said plain underwear-style ones - not sure if romper suits would fit under trousers? I'm looking for vests with legs in, basically

misdee...I think she wants to use them as underwear on a boy...nightdresses are great (we use them in summer for ds) but not good for the rest of a boys wardrobe!!

JPM · 22/11/2004 21:01

I have a couple from M&S but am using them at the mo. Not sure if you'll get them this time of year though, I've always bought mine in springtime.

misdee · 22/11/2004 21:02

ah ok, thought u meant for night time.

geordie · 22/11/2004 21:02

could you not just cut the feet off of some and stitch them...???

Soppy · 22/11/2004 21:03

Oh geordie, that would be FAR too resourceful

The White Company do nice but pricey ones - thewhiteco.com

misdee · 22/11/2004 21:04

link at the top of this page for the white company aloha.

geordie · 22/11/2004 21:05

u know you don't even have to stitch them...you can get powder stuff that you iron hems with these days.....I know because I did my curtains this way

JPM · 22/11/2004 21:06

You can buy one here for £6.99

lydialemon · 22/11/2004 21:06

Vertabaudet do them, quite cheaply if I remember rightly - I'll have a look and post a link in a minute. DD has some with really cute collars that look great under pinafores etc they definitely do 'boy' ones too.....

pixiefish · 22/11/2004 21:08

When dd started crawling and having material on her feet was a slippy issue with wood floors I cut the feet off her babygro's and sewed a little hem on them- quick and easy to do either by hand or by machine

blueteddy · 22/11/2004 21:12

Gap do fitted footless babygrows, which I have used 4 my sons as nightwear.
They r quite pricy (around £16) but r good quality & as they r so fitted, would be perfect 4 wearing as underwear.
You may be able 2 pick them up cheaper after xmas in the sales.

lydialemon · 22/11/2004 21:13

would this do?

Just remember that you have to order a size bigger than normal, as they aren't very generously cut.

nappybrain · 23/11/2004 08:46

Babies R Us do some - think they are sleepwear type ones but they are quite thin cotton jersey - my ds has a fleece and trackie bottoms pulled over his as we speak - they do a discount if you buy 2 - ours have been great.

nailpolish · 23/11/2004 08:48

gap do loads

fee77 · 23/11/2004 09:29

Bought mine in Woolworths in the summer

Soppy · 23/11/2004 19:45

Can't find them on BabiesRUs, nappybrain - what search term should I use? Same for Vertbaudet, lydia - your link just gave me their homepage I'm afraid

ds had gorgeous ones from gap. probably hideously expensive. his were all gifts or hand-ons.

emwi · 23/11/2004 20:22

I cut the feet off dds babygros when she grew too long. They don't seem to unravel.

morningpaper · 23/11/2004 20:22

I just chopped the feet off with scissors and didn't bother sewing them up because I am a SLUT.

Actually I found that they never frayed - must be the material that they are made from.

CarrieG · 23/11/2004 20:24

Ds was handed some down by friend from oldnavy - gorgeous & v warm, but I dont't know if they're still available.

Nice site & cheap tho'!

popsycal · 23/11/2004 20:24

next used to have some...
