Need to buy a baby monitor and am looking at the digital BT one which has a thermometer built in. Has any one got any feedback on this, good or bad. Also if you have any recommendations for good ones especially ones with good reception in a large house, advice would be appreciated!

I have the BT digital one, love it. It got all the best reviews when I was looking into them (DS is almost 8mo). We have a big house as well, lots of thick walls and the reception is fab - I even take it next door if I have to nip and let the neighbour's dog out, no problem.

I have been struggling with digital baby monitors - I have tried 3 or 4 of the big names (including BT) and had to take them back as I found that most of them were too quiet.

I have a sicky baby and really want to hear the low level noises that he makes- I would hear the crying anyway.

I've found that the old fashioned analogue ones much better at picking up the quiet noises.

If anyone has found a really good digital one where you can hear the quiet sounds please let me know!!

Do you think youi really need one ?

Just asking as I would spend my money on something else

I've found the BT one fantastic as well. And I haven't found any problems with the sound - I can often hear DS breathing if I want to. I love the fact that you can alter the sensitivity and the volume separately.
