I have the baba sling ds2 is 3 weeks and hates it ds1 is 19 months this sling was supposed to be a hands free life saver - I seem to struggle to get ds2 into it in a comfortable position, I try and put him in it when he is fed and settled and I want to do things but he just screams - any advice??

i got one yesterday in TK Maxx (they are currently £19.99 in there). I tried nearly 6 week old DS in it to get hang of it but have not been outside yet for full run!

Not sure of all complicated positions yet, I got it as I wanted to try BF with it when I am out and about.

How are you getting on with it now?

he's still not happy in it - coming up 4 wks now - maybe he just needs to be a bit bigger?? he is very alert and likes to be upright so borrowing another sling from friend to try, will ebay baba sling if he doesn't take to it - please let me know how you get on as your lo is a little older than mine, let me know any tips you have!

Try him in it like this it might suit him better.

I had one and didn't get on with it at all. Dd just hated it and never looked comfy. I am a sling novice though, so perhaps it was me rather than the sling. I gave up.

My friend loved hers and used it to death.

projecticarus - thanks for link but the sling I'm talking about is this one so its actually very limited for newborns - got a calin bleu one today to try... already feels more comfortable and versatile

broccoli - yep my ds is still looking uncomfortable - think it might be on ebay soon!

I must admit I loved my stretchy wrap when dd2 was teeny. Most people forgot she was there a lot of the time.

Ideal for hands free running about with toddler too.

Hope you have sling success!
