I'm trying to buy a Nintendo Ds and brain training game. Before Xmas a few of my friends bought theirs on line fo around £89 from places like Amazon, Game but now I can't find them under £100! What's going on?

I don't live in the UK so I'm not up to date with the news about things like this IYSWIM

They are really low on stoch here atm. my friend cannot get one for love nor money.

£99 is the normal price for a ds and there were bundles with discounted games many months pre-Christmas until they came into short supply. If you buy abroad the supply is better

Mine was £95 from Asda but that was just the ds, no gamnes or anything.
£100 seems to be the normal figure give or take a few £'s

My mum paid @£130 in comet or currys in November for the ds lite with brain training

OrmIrian · 07/01/2008 17:25

We paid 129 for the DS, a starter pack and a game. From Gamestation. I think they still have some left.

So do think it would be worth waiting for a month or so? I'm guessing supply will go up and demand won't be as much as it was prior to Xmas. They have them on sale here for £99 plus a game but that's cyp pounds so is about £120 and it's a game I don't want!

I dont think they will go down in price because its not xmas. Just buy it for £99 unless Nintendo bring out a similar console it will stay at that price

My brothers gf works in a games shop and they have been told not to expect any more ds's in until end of Jan as all of Jan's supplies were sent out before xmas and have gone.

someone is selling one on here, you may be too late though.

argos has them in store where i live

I saw some in Gamestation on christmas eve but they would only sell it as an over priced bundle, they haven't had anymore in since which is a real pain as I have £146 worth of vouchers for them so my options are limited. I don't want a bundle just the console as we have loads of games already!
