Gift for my newly retired friend

One of my best friends has recently retired at the age of 56. I want to buy her something but I can’t think what to get her. I once bought her a BBC good food magazine subscription. She likes good quality candles but gets them herself. I’m just totally stuck for ideas… and feel really bad tha5 I haven’t sorted anything out for her yet (we live far from each other but I haven’t even sent her a lovely card yet…). Any suggestions please?

Retiring at 56? Envy

It doesn’t sound as if she needs additional stuff!

Why not just send a card suggesting you make firm plans for a celebratory drink / meal as soon as possible. Now that she has all that free time. Envy

(I will be working till I’m 90 …)

TottersBlankly ha ha oh I'm the same but I'm really happy for her, and she is always there for me and has done so much for me that I want to get her something.

That is a blessing to retire so early. She seems like a hard-working person. I bought these candles unique candles from a company called Tukoko.
