ok let's go over it one more time - when does child move from Stage 2 car seat?

dd2 is 3 (just 3)

head is over top of seat

have checked on safety sites and they say the next stage is for 4 upwards or if their heads are over the top of the seat

my child is not tall, not by a long chalk, so evidence seems contradictory

Capp is confused

(dd1 stayed in second stage seat embarrassingly long time because we just didn't think about changing it)

Do you mean to a Stage 2 ie. Highback booster. It is up to ears/eyeline at top iirc and 15kg minimum.
