I just want some bog standard ones ideally without a button fastening at teh front -any ideas?
Next are all 'older' looking styles and with the dreaded button. Ditto M& S.

PS Must change name now!!

I bought some in M&S without button.

Just pull up elasticated ones? Sainsbury 5-6 are definatly like that, so maybe the older ages are? Or do you want a fly?

Finbar · 04/01/2008 14:50

ah - maybe the ones in store are teh ones I need .

Finbar · 04/01/2008 14:50

pull up elasticated would be perfect. Bu twe only have asmall Sainsbury's near us.

Tescos have some but they have a button waist adjuster inside iyswim.

ChippyMinton · 04/01/2008 15:08

M&S smaller sizes are pull-up, although it doesn't tell you on the website. Might be worth ringing to check?

PandaG · 04/01/2008 15:10

matalan? def got some there last year for DS without button and zip

MascaraOHara · 04/01/2008 15:10

£4 BHS - wash brill and doesn't matter if the put a whole through the knee at that price.

SatsumaMoon · 04/01/2008 15:19

I think it's really hard to get non-button ones once they get to this age - checked most places last summer and couldn't find any.

Just get some with a button but elastic at the back and as long as they are not too tight at the waist your ds should be able to get them on and off without opening the button...

kslatts · 04/01/2008 15:39

I got some pull up elastic one's in Adams last year.

MrsBadger · 04/01/2008 15:49

these look like they're pull-on - 100% cotton too

geogteach · 04/01/2008 16:20

Try john Lewis - I find they are great for more 'traditional' looking uniform and grey shirts which are impossible to get elsewhere.

ABudafulSightWereHappyTonight · 04/01/2008 16:47

They def had loads in M&S in Guildford - I bought 3 pairs on Sunday in age 7 - if they don't have them in stock they can order them in for you.
