Will M&S take something back that has all the labels (apart from the perforated price bit) but no receipt?

Yep, it was a bad xmas present. A coat, in a style that he would never wear, in age 5-6yrs (he is 3.2 ). Could really do with getting some baby stuff though so do you think they would refund/exhange?

will refund, but likely to be at the current (eg sale)price rather than the price that was paid for it if no proof of price paid.

Will only credit you current value so if it has been reduced , you're stuffed . Even then there is no obligation.

Marks' are generally one of the best for returning items to.
You will get a credit voucher for current sale value.
I've known people take stuff back that had sat in their wardrobe for a couple of years!!
