I'm thinking of making a sling for my 28+lb ds (14 mo) want to do it out of a bedsheet.

anyone know how to make a simple sling i can get him in and out easily?

i have a sewing machine and can sew a little bit if needed!

help me please!

chirpy, think iv found one, a hip cross carry, anyone tried it? any good? easy to get a wiggly 14mo into?

It's very easy to get them into, just make sure the sheet isn't twister at all adn that way you can spread the width out across their back and yours to make it comfier.
Tie it quite tightly to start with and spread the material as hig up his back as you can and you should be okay!

thanks, shall try tomo when i can get an old sheet off my mum and have ds here to try it with! lol, dont think he'd like being woken up to do it!

Have sent you info and also a file that shows you different carries with a wrap and a pouch inclduing hip ones.
