I’ve had ENOUGH of my 2012 Nissan Qashqai. It’s a 1.6 petrol auto, it’s really underpowered and the boot isn’t big enough. Plus the wipers come on when the sun shines.

I want something under £18,000 which is:

-ULEZ compliant
-automatic
-big enough for family of four, two of whom are very tall and leggy (DH is 6’4” and all legs)
-has a decent sized boot
-actually speeds up on the motorway when you put your foot down, not 20 mins later
-is short enough to navigate London parking spaces, don’t want an estate
-prefer a higher driving position
-has a reversing camera (the only feature on the qashqai I love)
-drives smoothly. The qashqai is hard work.

I’m looking at the Honda CRV? Any and all recommendations gratefully received Smile

Bless you for responding @Conc1- I see a lot for sale so had thought they were not a good bet. What’s the engine like, is it responsive when overtaking or pulling off quickly?

To be fair I don't really have a lot of experience. I've asked my partner. He says there is a bit of delay as it needs to change down gear but says its not long..
