MrsKittylette · 03/01/2008 20:58

I have the sport yes, its fabulous! I got it imported but sold that one, it was the camo blue.

But Ive since bought a black sport from a local shop, so paid full whack, but i LOVE it.

I think Ill upgrade to this one when i get pregnant with the next one, which hopefully wont be too long

I actually dont like that version and the price is ridiculous..its a pram thats it nothing more nothing less!!

Nemoandthefishes · 03/01/2008 21:15

only plus is that it will fold with the doubles seat on

TheBlonde · 03/01/2008 21:16

if it is anything like the sport they will have designed it in a hurry and left duff aspects

hello hatrick..hows things??

MrsKittylette · 03/01/2008 21:18

Am actully trying to figure out from the pics how the 'baby/'toddler' version works.

It doesnt look like it lies down iykwim, or that the seat attaches to the front?

PaulaYatesbiggestfan · 03/01/2008 21:21

hatrick!! why dont you like it?

nannyL · 03/01/2008 22:13

OMG i love that buggy

use the original P&T at the moment which i love at the moment (using it in single mode at the moment)

that looks like such a cool buggy though..... next job... I want one lol

slinkiemalinki · 16/01/2008 23:27

Hope they get on and release it by Sept when (all being well) I'm popping the next one! I walk a lot so do you think I need a double with a 2.4 mo old?

MrsTurk · 08/03/2008 21:19

Someone mentioned importing a phil & Teds buggy. Does anyone have any more details? I really want the new vibe but am having trouble pursuading hubby its worth the money!

Nightstalker3188 · 12/05/2008 18:06

We have got one...

to be honest it is'nt worth the wait nor the money you'll spend for it over here in the UK...
We had a friend of ours who went on a shopping trip to NY who kindly brought one over for us...
We paid 468 for it which included the doubles kit the cocoon and a double storm cover...
The first day we had it I managed to break it.. the locking system on this buggy is very flimsy, it has 2 clips - one on either side - which you need to flip over to lock the buggy in place - beit folded up or open ready for use - Anyway, when we folded the buggy up and tryied to lock it in place one of the clips gave and a bit of plastic came off, so now , although the buggy still locks ok, the clip wobbles...
Further more the doubles kit clips in place on top of the buggy when used in conjunction with the cocoon - this is also quite an art to get placed without scratching the surface of the buggy...which by the way scratches very easily...
I contacted out and about about the clasp as I believe this should be a warranty fix and they are not interested - nice supplier they are, we complained to Phil and Ted directly about them - still need to see what comes back...
So to sum it up... Yes the buggy looks nice and can be folded up with the doubles kit in place - which by the way you need to move each time from one position to another when used with the cocoon - and yes the wheel lock system is much better than on previous models...
However it is not worth the money, its flimsey - still quite bulky so if you have a small boot on your car think twice - We have a Rav4 and it takes up much of the bootspace... Also there is hardly any space for your shopping and other bags which are needed when you have little'ens...
Hope that gives you a bit of a heads up on this buggy...

bethoo · 12/05/2008 18:16

the Phil and Teds Dash looks nicer if you check out te official P&T website.

TheBlonde · 12/05/2008 18:21

The Dash looks like an improved sport with a better brake

glitterstar88 · 24/05/2008 15:20

I think the dash looks nicer too. Does anyone know when its due to come out over here? I've got family in France and i was thinking of getting it shipped to them then picking it up when i next see them as P&Ts dont ship to UK, but am not prepared to pay over 300 euros to get it shipped to France!

KaSo · 24/05/2008 15:26

That is one fugly pushchair!! I love it when they do this, now the older, much more attractive one will be half the price on Ebay! Result!
