My little boy has just turned 11 and is going through a weird sideways growth spurt, meaning that age 11 school trousers are terribly tight to the point where he is verging on splitting the seat if he ties his shoelaces. He is quite slim but all of a sudden packed on a few pounds, which I am sure will right itself as his eating habits are no different really. Anyway I bought him M&S age 12 trousers which hung off him so I wondered if anyone else had this issue and if you'd recommend any other companies that can accommodate a temporary, wider-than-usual, bottom?
