We are planning in advance for when DS2 outgrows his 0+ seat and wondered which ISOFIX seat to go for as we can't find that many. We have a BMW btw (if that makes a difference?).

We have a Britax one which came well-recommended and tested in the Which reports (sad I know but they're quite reliable!)

It is forward facing and slightly adjustable (ie tilts back and forward but not very much). It is easy to install and remove, especially if you have the little plastic guides for the ISOFIX clips.

I don't think there are that many ISOFIX seats anyway. Mothercare have them and will help you fit them...

We do have a britax one for DS1 that tilts back. I just wondered if there were any others/new ones available that people could recommend?

BMW have their own car seats as well (depending on the model you drive), check with your dealer. A friend has one for her DD and is very happy with it.

the maxi cosi isofix one was the one that scored the safest of all in the whoch reports fro group 1 car seats.

My nanny friends boss has a BMW and i know he has the isofix maxicosi version in his car (cause she has the nonisofix version in her car)
