got given some teethers and blocks at xmas for little one

he adores them!

but very very very! strong smell of vanilla goes onto his hands

chicco and fisher price

are they safe?

will they not make him have sweet tooth?

ds had a smelly squeaky ball from elc - he mouthed it, played with it a lot and 8 years on it is still smelly ! He doesn't have a sweet tooth particularly. Similarly dd had a smelly hedgehog from elc.

btw toys marketed as suitable for lo's by the big retailers/manufacturers have to pass rigorous safety tests to meet British Safety Standards. There were scares about certain plastic compounds in teethers a few years back but not born out afaik and they were phased out.
