Azure · 18/11/2004 14:06

I'v just looked at the M&S site and it still says £40 - how strange. Great news about the ELC one - I almost bought that the other week for $40.

Azure · 18/11/2004 14:07

£40 - I don't know why I used the dollar sign just then.

zephyrcat · 18/11/2004 14:09

Azure · 18/11/2004 14:29

You're not going mad - it's a different fort. The other one is grey. Thanks for the tip.

Blackduck · 18/11/2004 14:31

Yes it really was £100 originally (back in May???) Went down to £40 about a month or so ago when I bought it...{growl}....and now £15....ahhhhhhhhhhhh It is lovely - very solid....!

I blame Aero - if I hadn't been looking for her Noah's Ark I'd be none the wiser!

KangaMummy · 30/11/2004 19:50

Thanks for hunting me down when DH gets home with M&S card will order it.

Blackduck · 01/12/2004 13:20

Kangamummy - did you get it???

GingerBells · 01/12/2004 13:26

I have ordered one - there is a two week wait.

Anyone recommend some figures to go with it?
It is for DD and I think that she might prefer a dragon, a witch, princesses and princes rather than knights.

Blackduck · 01/12/2004 13:42

don't elc do dragons and all that?

OP posts:
Sozie · 01/12/2004 14:15

You can buy figures from Letterbox (see top of page) - groups of 4 characters such as "Royal Family" are about £15.00. I am sure Toys R Us do individual dragons as well.

doziduck · 01/12/2004 14:41

How big is the wooden fort? will i still be able to get one?

cellulitequeen · 01/12/2004 14:43

The fort is:

H45 x W53 x D53cm

Item code T21-4710D

Although they are showing as available on the M&S website, don't count your chickens so to speak. I tried to order one a couple of weeks ago and it took them a couple of days to let me know that they were out of stock (even though my order had gone through okay).

Sozie · 01/12/2004 14:56

I've just order one and everything seemed to go through but will wait and see if the email they send says out of stock - well worth a try though

Sozie · 01/12/2004 15:08

Just had a phone call from M&S saying sorry but this item is now out of stock and they have no way of knowing when more may come in. Oh well this ds has enough for xmas anyway.
