I have looked everywhere.
Do you know anywhere they sell (preferably white) LONG sleeved vests for 2-3 year old.
I can find the bodysuit style but we are in the middle of potty training at the moment so really want the pull over the head type.
HHEELLPP!!!!!
TIA.

Can't you just put a plain top underneath? Do you live somewhere very cold?

Rosa · 30/12/2007 17:52

I got mine from Vertbaudet but bought 3 yr old as was expecting them to be small....

nobodysfool · 30/12/2007 17:56

I wanted to put them under some of his short sleeve t shirts to get some more wear out of them.
Rosa-Will have a look now.....

Four year old.

I found some in Woolworths the other day - I had been looking for ages.

Well I would just put long sleeve top under t-shirt. Or cardigan/zippy top over. But I do have warm children and a tendency to forget that not everyone else does.

CarGirl · 30/12/2007 21:58

I got some vertbaudet ones last winter, very reasonable priced and thin enough to use as vests of as long sleeved tops IYSWIM

Washersaurus · 30/12/2007 22:01

I still use the popper vests because DS1 (2.5) has started putting his hands in his nappy to show me he has done a poo (nice)

I'm sure I can convince to use the potty soon

These vests are really really hard to find, for some completely stupid reason. A few months ago I searched about 8 high street shops and not a single one of them had plain white long-sleeved vests.
Petit Bateau ones are very very nice, durable and soft. They are lovely. They also cost £7.50 each.
I got some really nice ones from Vertbaudet, so I also recomment those (like many others in this thread).
A friend got some from M&S's website - search for something along the lines of 'thermal vests' in schoolwear.

TherewasnoMOOMattheINn · 30/12/2007 22:14

M&S did them last winter. LOvely ones.

TherewasnoMOOMattheINn · 30/12/2007 22:15

OH sorry didnt see that you don't want poppers. I'd just buy plain tops from somewhere like matalan then

nobodysfool · 30/12/2007 22:46

Thanks for your ideas. The search continues..........

Tesco do them in packs of 3 - though not sure if they go up to age 2-3 (definitely 18-24 months so could be worth a look). Of all the long-sleeved poppered vests I've tried, these are by far my faves - good quality jersey and a proper fitting neck that doesn't stretch or gape - unlike the ones from Asda and Sainsburys (though S'bys short-sleeved ones are great).

bambi06 · 31/12/2007 12:03

vertbaudet

nobodysfool · 31/12/2007 18:47

Mejon-I also LOVE the tesco bodysuit vests but they dont seem to do 2-3 in normal long sleeve vests.
