If so was it successful and which one did you get?

My friends have a 3g one, you have to have it sticking out quite far when in pram mode but later on you can mover closer to the frame so the pusher has an easier job!

we don't have a pramette we have a MPX chassis but bought this one and it has a brilliant universal fit thing - we use it on both the MPX and our Mclaren buggy.
DS1 uses it and loves it (he was 2.5 when DS2 was born)

Well, according to PegPerrego, the italian M&P site, on a Pramette, the plates on the back are for a toddler to stand on.
On the english M&P website, they say the plates are for curb manouvering.
DS1 stands on the back of ours with no problems, ever.
I have the old type of course, not the new white/see-thru space agey one.

in pram mode there it isn't really possible for the toddler to use the step plates but once you're past the fully reclined mode step plates are absolutely ace

I got mine in 2005 are those step plates ok they look small and weak to me - new baby due june and ds will be nearly 3.

I had a p3 which is pretty much the same as the pramette and had my 1 year old in it with the hety 3 year old on the back doing the school run for nearly a year it was fab. I just don't think you could use the step with the back resst fully reclined.
