Help find a bed for my DD (3.9)

I need to get a new bed for DD1.

I had been thinking of a cabin bed or a single bed. I need pretty cheap to be honest. And wood rather than metal.

The room is a nice size.

Help.

Argos do cheap beds.

This is down from £400 to £299, but doesn't include mattress

do you want wood coloured wood (iyswim) or is painted wood ok ?

FunkyGlassSlipper · 28/12/2007 10:07

Painted wood is fine.

They are lovely Bogie.

Now I have a dilemma. DD1 just saw me looking and has said dhe likes this one which is metal and not at all what I imagined but is v. cheap

Do I let her have it or go for something I like more?

After much debate last spring, we went for this from Ikea - it is also available in white. It has been a huge hit for ds and all who play in his room

TheMadHouse · 28/12/2007 11:43

Oo I dont know we are looking at getting wooden bunk beds for DS1 in the spring nad moving him in to the larger room (he is in a toddler cot bed at the moment.

I always wanted a mid sleeper as a child, I think i would prefer the wooden one though.
