DD is nearly finished the barbie one and has had a brief try at the others her father bought her, but they all requie her to read instructions on screen and remember lots of different buttons and it gets her all frustrated. (barbie just needs directional buttons/joystick thing and X button to jump) Im sure she will pick up the harder games with time, but I also want her to want to play the games...anyone got any other puke-inducing (for adults) games like strawberry shortcake or disney princess ones, and know what the controls are like?

yep i would say lego star wars, my 5 year old LOVES it, also we recently hired the 'over the hedge' game from the library and again our 5 yr old loved that too

the cars game is ok, but not as well liked.

we have a wacky races game that is good.

if you can try hiring games from your local library to try them out and then you can see if they are worth buying

Thanks 3MB but unfortunately my local libraries have only recently upgraded to dvds, so i think video games is a little way off!
