Does anyone have the Peppa Pig playset with car,train & playground?

If so,are the car and train meant to make any noise?
Ds1 has just opened the set we got him as a xmas eve pressie and where the batteries are meant to go there is a label to say it isn't electronic which is a bit of a let down.
Dh just took it back to Woolies who said that if you buy them individually they make a noise,but as a set,they don't.Just wondered if they were right or whether we have a faulty set.

I brought the same set and my ds is really upset that they don't make the noises we were expecting! (his friend has the ones that do!) so noe i'm trawling the sales for talking ones! they didn't make it very clear on the box that they didn't do the things normal ones do though

nope the car in set doesnt do anything think its just the same shell. Train we have is from individual box and it does make noises but to be honest probably not worht it..lol

Ds1 is pleased with the set but obviously it would've been better if they had made the noises.Very deceiving though as I'm sure lots of people assumed the were exactly the same as the ones you can buy individually as they look identical.
