I don't have one, but I do know that whilst fab, they are very expensive to run in that you have to take out a contract with the supplier, I guess like the ones we have with ISPs. I have a feeling I saw £250 a year? They are used to receive and send emails from anywhere but have a very fiddly little keyboard that means you can't type long messages.

That's the sum total of my knowledge I'm afraid!

I have one, I used it for about 2 weeks and have gone back to my ordinary phone. It is great but I need time to really sit down and try and sync it with my apple mac which isn t that easy. I did use a palm pilot, phone and laptop, and thought this would be simpler. My children think it is like a brick!

I got it on an upgrade for £150 by going direct to vodaphone, the shop quoted me £250+

Aaahhh, the "Crackberry" as it is otherwise known! DH always swore he wouldn't have one of these as once you've got mobile email, you really ARE never out of reach of the office, but his new job has given him one and guess what? He's on it all the time now.

If your DH is at all the addictive type of personality, I wouldn't get him one or he'll be foever tap tap tapping away on the bloody thing.
