So, I've just come off the phone after 1 hour to Amazon "customer service" having finally deduced that yes indeedy they had lost my original order, and yes indeedy they have now cancelled it, so no chance of getting any of the gifts by Christmas. Not what they had been saying incidentally! But I won't bore you with the details, instead, having informed them calmly, well calmly-ish, well, not at all calmly in fact, that I would never use them again. I am left stuck, as I do need to use them as I live in Paris and not it's easy to find English DVDs, books and CDs, SO, does anyone know of an alternative to Amazon that delivers internationally that is any good?
