The Rubbadubbas

Anyone know where I can buy Rubbadubba products? Specifically a small cheap Finbar, as it is my ds's name and I want a small stocking filler type toy for him. He is not much of a fan, so I only want something cheap. Have tried ELC and ToyRus to no avail. Google only brought me to Mumsnet!

bathtime play set

WigWamBam · 16/11/2004 12:11

Our local branch of The Entertainer sells individual Rubbadubber toys, I spotted a wind-up Finbar bath toy there, and I think they had some soft toys too.

Lonelymum · 16/11/2004 12:57

Must be blind Gingerbear, but I can't see Finbar in that set!
Is the Entertainer a chain of shops? have never heard of it. Has it a website?

Have also tried Gamleys - no luck. The programme is on BBC every morning isn't it or is it my imagination?

You can your local The Entertainer shop here . They don't show the wind-up bath toys on the website, but they certainly had some in the BullRing shop at the weekend.

Thre's a cuddly one on ebay at the mo, 3.99 with 3 days to go (or buy it now for 4.99), or a flannel for 1.75. Sorry, still too scared to do links in public!!

zephyrcat · 16/11/2004 15:58

is finbar the croc? dd has got a toothbrush and holder of the croc from boots so i know they def do rubbadubbers stuff

WigWamBam · 16/11/2004 16:03

Finbar is the shark.

Lonelymum · 16/11/2004 18:29

Finally found out why I can't find anything anywhere. Apparently, they are called Rubbadubbers (er on the end). Didn't spot the spelling in WWB or Zephyrcat's posts. Found Gingerbear's bath set for only £10 at The Entertainer link but I still can't see Finbar in it and it is still too pricey for a stocking filler. Will try Boots next.

Have a look here to order online.

Lonelymum · 16/11/2004 18:48

Thanks WWB you have just made a small boy's (and mum's) day. I would never think of looking at Hasbro website! Finbar is with me and was very surpised to see a load of Shark Finbars appear on the screen before him. Now I have to decide which to buy! Not cheap are they?

No, they're not unfortunately ... £6 for a wind up bath toy is taking the mickey really.

But he'll love it

Lonelymum · 16/11/2004 21:59

Plus £3.50 p&p! Maybe not.
