Bosch Fridge - do I need a higher or lower number for colder setting?

Got a secind hand fridge a while back, it seems too warm - do we need to change the dial (0-6) closer to 6 or closer to 0 for cooler inside?

I say 0 because going with temp 0C - 6C iyswim, DH says 6 is the colder setting. We can't tell by just trying one then the other - we fight

HELP!
