Seasalt Janelle VS Arket Down long puffer

Hi all, sorry to add yet another coat discussion but I am really trying to figure out which would be better to survive cold, rainy and windy UK winter. (Fairly new to the country)

Would winter raincoat would be better or ankle length down puffer would be better?? If you could share your opinions and experiences that would be so helpful. Thank you!!!

I have a light puffer which is lovely when chilly but useless in the rain.
I also have a Seasalt Janelle which I love, really wind and waterproof, useful zipped pockets and a hood which works. Won't win too may style contests though.

Thank you for replying. I ended up buying a ankle long puffer cause I've been feeling so cold this week. I will keep an eye on Janelle though! It seems like it is very practical especially on windy and rainy days. :)
