Having brought dd1 a Gameboy for Xmas i am now on the hunt for games. They are 20-30 quid in the shops...Here is one on ebay Very Cheap. Whats the catch, its in Canada, some of them say Asian Version, but in English...are they copys? Or do they sell them for peanuts in other countrys? And so by selling here they make a profit?
Please help!

I don't know much about ebay but

there are 2 lines that would worry me

It does not have a manual so would be difficult for child to follow instructions and may be frustrated.

Will check is working before posting, which could actually mean that it is 2nd hand because if it was new they wouldn't need to check but more importantly it means that you are agreeing to letting them not send original packaging IYSWIM

I have bought some games from a seller on ebay which are fine. He has a really good rating and the games come with box and instructions.
Also P&P is cheaper than the one you are looking at.
Take a look at this guys stuff
