Are cosatto or graco double buggies any good?! (hmm)

Having major double buggy dilema for 2 year old and newborn! Was thinking phil and ted, but now feeling skint and thinking something cheaper! Was wondering how stable side by side ones are compared to tandems, especially if my toddler decides she wants to walk. Any opinions would be great!

I've broken both of those. I'd get a nipper, you can pick them up fairy cheaply off ebay, especially as you won't need it for long.

Thanks chopster! Is the nipper still easy enough to push if my toddler decides to bail out and walk?

yep, it is so lightweight it is fine. I often push it with just one of my twins in it when they start fighting, and it's easy, even with one hand.
