got a hp 1350 all in one,one with comp, got printer, scanner copier ..really good, normally cost about £100 i think(bought from curries)

We have an epson stylus photo 200. You can buy them everywhere - Dixons, Currys, Boots....you get the picture!
They have dropped lots in price just recently - to about £80.
When you think that it does every day printing very well, and prints photos IME just as well as if you get a film developed, then you can't argue with that price.
BTW, this printer was recomended to us by a friend who works in this field and knows is stuff, and we haven't been disappointed.

Yorkiegirl- I've got one that I want to sell- it's an Epson stylus photo 830u. it's my mum's who didn't use it much as she got a 3 in 1 shortly after. Am going to list it on ebay. Have googled it now and they're £84 brand new. If you're interested then you could contact me via CAT or thepixiefish at yahoo dot com- don't worry if you're not interested in it as I'll probably get round to listing it in a couple of weeks

I have an epson 1290 (and we have them at work too) and think it's great. One thing to check is how much the ink cartridges are and if you can get the cheap compatible ones for the printers. The compatible ones work really well and are super cheap. A lot of the hp ones don't have compatible cartridges.

JanH · 14/11/2004 23:15

We have a lexmark, YG, it worked ok-ish until it went wrong and the cartridges are EXTORTIONATE.

Canon, Epson and HP are supposed to be the dogs bollocks.

(Let me know what you get and I'll get one too )

no probs at all- just thought as i've got this one waiting to be listed- it probably is about 12 months old by now so you can probably get a better one.
Personally I prefer the hewlett packard but dh complains that the ink's expensive in them. He sells Epson's in his shop so he would say that.

I think that most people seem to be going for the 3 in 1 these days.
