anyone got the Bialetti Mukka Express Coffee Maker??

Does anyone have one and is it any good? does it really make cappuccino with thick frothy milk?

Yes I have it . Its the one that you stick on the stove and looks like a giant espresso pot ? My dh can do excellent cappucino with frothy milk I can't it either boils over or I put in to much milk. You have to get the knack ..Needless to say I haven't. But Dh manages it regularly. Its easy to clean as well .

Hint turn the heat off from under the thing when you hear it start to bubble up . If you leav it on too long it it will boil over and you will have flat coffee.. Enjoy ..Oh and squash the coffee in well you get better flavour ( and use the right stuff !!) Have fun !!

is there a special coffee to get? is it not just ground coffee??

You should use coffee for Mocha machines not ground as ground works better when they are soaked ( if that makes sense). Not the stuff for espresso machines either! No idea what it is here as we live in Italy but am sure that you can get the right stuff in Sainsburgers or similar.
