Bluetooth is a way of allowing devices to communicate with each other, such as your phone and your communicator. If you plug this into your lighter,, what is communicating with what! Is it so he can answer his phone and hear it through his radio?

i think i assumed it was to enable him to be handsfree on the phone in the car...

my problem is i can't really buy something if i don't knwo what it is - aaargh!
