I know we always complain when things go wrong, so thought in the spirit of goodwill I'd mention how FANTASTIC M&S have been in helping me secure a present for Christmas.
I saw what I wanted in a local store - but wrong size. Member of staff phoned 2 other local stores but neither had it, she gave me the number of another store which 'might have it'.
Apparently stock was low everywhere, so I couldn't order it online.
I phoned this store when I got home, and they said 'sorry, have just sold last one', but the very nice young (male) assistant spent ages giving me a list of all the stores in the country which had it in stock, how many, and their telephone number.
I then phoned BLACKPOOL (I'm in South East!) who were fab and found it, took my details and said they were posting it yesterday.
ANd the lady in Blackpool was just so chatty and friendly.
Hurrah for M&S. When they get customer service right it's such a good feeling
