where to buy fireworks?

DD is desperate for us to let off fireworks in the garden on her birthday just after Xmas. Had assumed there would be lots about in the shops for New Year but haven't seen any.

Anybody know where I could get a pack of fireworks suitable for home/garden use?

i think there are restrictions on when shops can sell fireworks - i know for bonfire night the shops couldnt stock them until 2 weeks before the event...check with your local supermarket.

some places have year round licenses to sell them so ask around. i know somewhere in plymouth if you're down this way?

oo thanks Kerri that's useful to know. Shame we are nowhere near Plymouth, will have to keep looking.
