I have a tassimo!!! very east to use!!! easy to clean, really pleased with it. It uses kenco cofee, twinings tea or suchard hot chocolate, so there is a good choice of drinks to make and i am sure there will be something to please everyone- The pods are around £3 per box- makes 8 drinks i think but well worth it.

Hope i have helped!!!

I was thinking about getting a Tassimo or even the other duck-like coffee machine!

I used to have a Tassimo. Dh bought it, but neither of us liked it. It is very widely available, but has a very poor rating. I saw an advert where they rated some of the others, I will try and find it for you.

We have a Tassimo, we're pleased with it.

Having said that I don't drink tea or coffee myself, but the hot chocolate is nice.

I was wondering which one was better.

The tassisimo or the nescafe dolce gusto or whatever it's called...

It's not for me but for MIL so it needs to be not too fiddly.

I swear by my Senseo.

What about 'Krups' , they seem to have good write ups

I love my Nespresso one. Even if the capsules are expensive, they're worth it because the coffee is sooooo good. I've had my Nespresso machine for years & never had to have it repaired. Mine's made by Koenig btw.

Easiest and most reliable by far would be a Bodum cafetiere - no filters, put in the dishwasher after, easy to control strength and flavour, special bits and pieces. Just add the coffee, some water and press after a few minutes for the perfect coffee. (Get some green points too I would imagine!)
