Hello, I am torn between the North Face Arctic parka (expensive) and a Woolrich one (twice the price of the NF!)
I used to have a Woolrich parka years ago and it lasted about 8 years, it was an absolute joy to wear but the price of them now is ridiculous. And they have a real fur collar which I am not keen on (although they do have one or two designs without real fur which are not as nice).
I have also had a North Face one, it’s ok and does the job, also fairly durable but nothing like the Woolrich and definitely not as stylish, it feels more practical. Probably lasted about 1/2 as long but also costs 1/2 as much.
I think both have probably changed a bit since I last bought one about 7 years ago so wanted to get feedback from those of you who have bought one of these coats in the last few years. Are you happy with the quality? What would you choose? Or any other tips for stylish parkas to look at?
I did order one from Parka London but was very disappointed with the design and quality.
