The more I think about it, the more I think it might actually be a good idea to get a double buggy when DC2 is born in the Spring.
Having done some research, the most practical and useful double buggy seems to be the Phil & Teds one. It's rather lovely. And totally out of my price range. Even second hand on ebay they seem to go for loads.
I was trying to convince DP that because they went for loads second hand, we would buy one, us it and then sell it on. He pointed out that we tend to give our pushchairs rather a hard time. Have had a Quinny Buzz for 18 months and it is absolutely knackered - grubby, stained, broken, muddy, chewed, squeaky...
But it still works...
Which got me thinking...
The second hand ones on ebay are all in great condition, but surely there must be sad, unused Phil & Teds sitting in garages all over the country that people won't bother to sell because they're knackered... but they still work!
Is there any way of finding one of these crappy old ones? For about £50? Or £80? What would be reasonable? How would I find one? I really don't mind how grubby and stained and squeaky it is.
Any thoughts?
