Info wanted: Leapster L Max system or Vtech Pocket Smile?????

Hi. Want to get one of the above for ds' birthday/christmas.
Really wanting pros and cons of each system from people who have already got them as I can't choose between them.
Ds is 4 but plays on my nintendo ds on the easy games (with a little help from me!)
Anyone care to share a review???

oh just the question I want answered, so, shall be watching the thread !

my ds who is 3 got a v smile pocket for his birhday. chose this has had already had the tv console so the games are compatible. He does play on it and the selection of games are really good. The games are very much educational based as opposed to the ds games which are just for gaming. My ds also plays on my ds and actually finds it easier to control than the v smile. Bear in mind he may not get a lot of use from it as next year or the year after he will probably want a ds anyway.

Do you have a home baragins near you?

they had the leapster L MAX for £39.99 the other day and had extra 2 or 3 games

in the store I was in , they were not were you would expect them to be, they were away from the toys so have a good look, or ask

looked in our Home Bargains...but they didn't have any consoles (our Argos Bargain Warehouse did still have the L Max consoles, but without games and for £44.00 )...however, I won a ordinary leapster with 5 games and a backpack on E-bay....the games are just the ones my son would like (Spiderman, Scooby Doo, Spongebob,Cars and The Incredibles).It says it's all in top condition...so, lets hope it's true.....
got the lot for £24.99 + £5.99 p&p...!
