If I bought a phil and teds on ebay without a doubles kits...

...and just bought a doubles kit in a few months when I need it, would it matter that the phil and teds was about a year old so not a sport model?

ie. would the sport doubles kit that I could pick up in my local lovely pram shop or wherever fit on a non-sport pushchair?

if not, can I pick up non-Sport doubles kits on ebay or do they not come up a lot?

(or should I just buy a double nipper and be done with it?)

Seriously - I haven't seen how the Sport seat fixes to the frame but you could try speaking to 'out and about' who are the P+T contacts in the UK. They are very friendly and have been great when I've rung with a query. You can get their number from the phil and teds website. They also have a lot of spare parts so they might have an idea how long they will have the e3 doubles kit in stock (so you could buy from them if mothercare etc don't have them anymore)

We bought our E3 doubles kit after the buggy had been discontinued (V1) and just ordered if from Out 'n' About through our local nursery shop. It took about 6 weeks to come into stock though as the shop only had deliveries from Out 'n' About every 6 weeks. They were very helpful too. I think that, unofficially, the sport doubles kit fits the E3.

I'd definitely get the sport doubles kit anyway as it reclines.

the sport doubles kit does fit on both the new P&T Sport and the P&T E3v2.

it doesn't however fit on the P&T E3v1 but that model is quite a few years back now.
