Dressing up costumes for small 2 year old - where from?

My dd is nearly 2 and would love some dressing up clothes but they all seem to start at age 3+ which would drown her. I've seen a fairy outfit in Next which will fit but any ideas where I can buy any others the right size?

Thanks!

Try woolworths or the disney store? I always buy a bit big so they'll last.

woolworths have got 1-1 1/2 year dressing up outfits in......i was looking at them ready for ds2!!!

We've got some Ladybird and Asda ones for our dd who is a small 3yr old (c 90cm tall !). Latest is a pink witch aged 3-4 but doesn't actually come up that big. Some of them are ruched so will fit the smallest of chests and length isn't really an issue. Also have some elc tabards.

the woolies ones have lasted well for us and they're fairly cheap. they sometimes have 2 for 1 offers on around this time of year.

Have got the same problem with my dd who is nearly 3 but still wearing age 1 1/2 to 2 clothes. I saw a fairy outfit in Mothercare which looked pretty small so I was going to try it. Also the Letterbox catalogue has various costumes which start from age 2 (although they're not cheap!)

Marks and Spencer have got loads in, at least they have in the one near me (Worcester). Not sure of the starting sizes though.

Thanks guys for all these ideas. Will get myself to Woolies tomorrow lunchtime. Had a look at the Mothercare one on their website which looks nicer than Next and a better price. Asda will be on my list at the weekend. Thanks a lot!

zeebee, i have a snow white outfit from the disney stoe, age 2-3. minus the hoop as dd1 broke it, but the outfit is in good condition and lovely. you can have it for £7 including p+p, cost me £25.

The Disney ones from Disney Store, Mothercare and Woolworths come up quite small we find. My DD has aged 3-4 from before 2 years because of. BUT they also have lots of lycra in them so do last a while.

Woolworths currently has 3 for 2 offers on a lot of things, and the dressing up clothes are included. My sister has got DD the lovely winter Belle outfit and cape for Christmas.

Misdee, that sounds great. I'll CAT you over the weekend unless you CAT me first with details!
Hulababy, I'm off to Woolies today, the cape thing sounds fab. Funnily enough nursery told me last night how much dd loves dressing up!
Thanks a mill guys.
