90s Fancy Dress! Agh! Help needed!

I have been invited to a 90s fancy dress party. I usually love fancy dress but have put on so much weight over lockdowns (something I am working on losing) so need something not too clingy around the stomach area!

Does anyone have any clever ideas? I don't want to feel frumpy and awkward.

If it were me, I'd find a long yellow dress, put my hair in a bun and add a massive Christmas corsage to my dress...Phoebe from that friends episode where everyone's late for Ross' event.

If that's not appealing, I'd get myself a checked skirt and jacket like they wear in legally blonde OR I'd look to Gerri Haliwell's union jack look. Add a white fake fur jacket and some clompy platforms and you're there.
