Multi-region DVD player

I'm after one of these to play some DVDs from America. I've had a quick look on Amazon and they just say 'multi region capable'. In other words, you have to unlock it by entering a code. The player I currently have you were supposed to be able to enter a code, but it never worked, so am reluctant to spend more money unless I know for sure the DVDs will play!

Can anyone recommend one?

i brought a duraband one from asda for £10 and got a code off the internet and it works

Oh sparkly where did you get the code from? I've got one of those from Asda (I think so anyway!) but haven't been able to find a code. Many thanks and sorry to hijack!

just searched unlocking code for duraband XXXXX (whatever model) and found it, you need the remote
