What's the difference between Leapster and Leapter L-Max

That's it really, from the online blurb, the only difference I can see is that one plugs into the tv and one doesn't?

I think that's the only difference - you can play Leapster games on an L-max but not the other way round - the L-max games have some extra functions I think because they link to the telly. Haven't got one personally, thought about one for DD2 but the price put me off and tbh she's not really into electronic stuff - I've tried the excellent Jump Ahead computer games that DD1 used to play but they don't grab her attention.
