I would be nuts to buy my 17 month old ds a trainer bike, wouldn't I?

Look at this cool bike JD Bug Kids Trainer

He would love it, and he would be so good on it he would be dangerous

However, I will resist the temptation until he is 2. Only because I don't want to be trudging round the pavements in freezing winter weather after him on his bike.

Thanks. He would really love it - he is bike mad.

But I also really want to get him a nice wooden toy garage, which is more suitable for this time of year. So maybe for his second birthday

buy it & hide it! we got dd one for her 2nd birthday but i have to say she loves her minimicro scooter more. i think next summer, when she's 3, she'll be really whizzing around on it.
