Is the Ninky Nonk toy really as bad as all the reviews on Amazon?

My dc desperately want this for Christmas. They have been talking about asking Father Christmas for it since they saw one about 3 months ago . So is it really crap and if it is do I buy it anyway to avoid the crushing disappointment on Christmas day or do you think they will forget when they have other presnets to play with. What a stupid dilema!

Oh and I don't know why I'm allergic to question marks this morning. Please feel free to mentally add any to my first post. I've been awake since 5.20 and have a stinking cold in my defence...

i haven't seen the reviews, but if they're that desperate i'd get it. they'll be so happy they won't care it's crap . ps go back to bed!

I agree with what hoxtonchick said.

Especially the going back to bed

I got ds one for his birthday beginning of October and it is still his number one toy, no one is permitted to touch it, he plays with it constantly! Get it they will love it!

Haven't read the reviews of it. The only thing I can think of is that it comes appart easily, which a younger childmight find frustrating, but my ds loves putting stuff together and setting it back up again.

Thank you. Right, am off to purchase and sod the crapness! Oh and back to bed ....I wish!

Is that the train you're on about?

It's not the most wonderous thing on the planet, but it's fine. My kids love it. They've got the train and the set of figures. They're solid and colourful and they enjoy them.

DS loves his, but it is tiny!
