Nipper double or Phil n Teds twin?

I'm thinking about getting a side by side buggy for next year, I've got a Powertwin at the moment but I think dd2 will get fed up in the back when she has outgrown the car seat facing me part.

I have seen the Nipper at Kiddicare, but can't find anywhere that has the Phil and Teds to try out. Width ways they are similar I think but I would appreciate some advice if anyone owns either! How do they handle? Shopping basket any good? Folding?

I have a nipper double for my DTs and it's great. Really lightweight, not very expensive and fits through most doorways. It's easy to fold, but doesn't fold up really small but that doesn't bother me as I have a big-ish boot so it's fine.

For me the great thing is it's really well balanced so you can steer it with one hand which is great if you are holding the hand of your or another child!

The shopping basket underneath doesn't hold much, but there are a couple of pouches behind both seats and I hand bags off the brake and put stuff on the folded canopy

I also have a kiddy board on the back of it which works really well.

HTH

Thankyou, thats very helpful! Does it have an adjustble height handle? I'm only 5ft and find so many prams handles too high.

I thought the P&T was much narrower but could be wrong?

Wow that's interesting.

I'm 5' and have used both pushchairs and found them both fine height wise, nipper much much lighter for lifting in and out of the boot of the car but is much bigger folded. P&T has very little shopping space without buying the paniers so nipper better in that respect.

Wow great advice everyone - thanks so much!

I'm only 5 foot 1 and I've got a Nipper Double; I find it really easy to push and heightwise it's fine.

I love mine, having used a friend's P&T and then bought a Nipper my children look much comfier in the Nipper.

Thanks all so much for the help. Found somewhere local that stocks them, had a really good play and I love it - its now on my find-a-cheaper-one-on-ebay list!
