Winter puffa coat

Can anyone recommend a winter puffa coat that won't make me look absolutely ginormous?

I'm 5'9 and a size 12/14. I have a slim top half but big bum and thighs, as a result puffa coats tend to bulk me up when all you can see is thick thighs.

I'm thinking maybe a knee length one rather than hip.

Is there such a thing as a warm puffa coat that isn't huge???

I am considering a similar but looking for mid-length with a hood, basically a parka cross. I don't think they are in the shops yet but I will be going to Joules, Phase Eight, Barbour and some others.
