Recommend me a new perfume for my sis who likes Paloma Picasso

We have completely different tastes in perfume so no idea where to start buying her a new one for Xmas - she likes Paloma Picasso which is pretty heavy/heady stuff isn't it? She has given me NO clues.

So anyone like PP as well as something else similarish you'd recommend?

err, why not buy her the one you know she likes...... she might like that one!

I wore PP for years,love it. However I graduated onto First by Van Cleef and Arpels which is just sublime, but expensive.It's hard to get hold of though, I am in London and can only get it in Selfridges, Harrods or up town.I would recommend it though as it is the best perfume in the universe bar none.I expect you can get it online now.

Coco Chanel - has same heavy aroma, and similarly quite deep and not one of the fresh, fruity ones.

I don't wear it mind. But I did used to wear PP.

CF2 - because she wants a different one - and wants a surprise!

Will have a sniff of First (have 2 Selfridges close by) and Coco.

Oh I liked being poked. I have one FB friend who pokes me continually and I respond, it just makes me think of her at that time. I think it's lovely. (Although as I'm writing this I have to agree it does sound rather rude)

Oh dear god, how did I manage to post that on the wrong thread! I was talking about Facebook! Ok, as you were.

I like PP and it smells nice on me, but my current favourite is Viktor and Rolf's Flowerbomb.

I used to wear PP and now have graduated to Jo Malone's Nutmeg & Ginger. Yum.

When I stopped wearing PP I moved on to cheap and chic by Moschino, a similarish smell but in a lighter version. Now use Dolce&Gabbana.
