Here

Basically about the magnets coming loose, being swallowed and killing children

Please keep your toddlers away from your children's Magnetix bits.

OMG

Have just reserved one of those in Argos for DS1. Best also buy a box to keep it in and out of the way of DS2.

We have loads of magnets all over our fridge, and I have never worried about him playing with them. Will be more careful now.

Thanks for posting this.

Welcome Laura, I'm glad someone read it!!

Scared me a bit, I have just reserved one of those too and thinking of keeping it at Grandma's where things always get put away!!

Bargain though, huh! (was it the £25 down from £79 one?)

There was a batch of Magnetix that were recalled over a year ago. The ones that you are buying today should be fine.

Yes columbia Although DS1 is only 3 and a half, I was hoping it would be a good daddy and DS1 toy.

SA - that's good to know.

Oh Sofia, thankyou for the reassurance...I just picked mine up and it does have a warning on the box, but am hoping they have used stronger glue or whatever to attach the magnets with these recent ones.

Laura - ds1 here is 4 1/2, has been on about these for ages, so it won't be long before your ds will be ready if he isn't now!!
