Best Dyson cordless

There are about 15 versions now so I just wondered if it makes a massive difference if I just get one of the old ones? Obviously the main difference would be the cost!!

Also - the Animal one seems to be cheaper - why is this? Surely it would be more powerful?

thanks in advance!

I just got the Dyson V15 Detect. Stupidly expensive but it is brilliant. It has this laser light, which sounds like a gimmick but actually using it in a darkened room, you pick up so much more debris from the floor than you thought was there. My mum has the V10 which is a bit heavier and the battery isn't as good, but she just wanted it for the hard surface of the kitchen and utility room. Its good on carpets too, the V15 just seems more powerful, slightly lighter and has a better battery. V11 might be worth looking into, not as expensive as V15 but definitely more powerful than V10.

Honestly if you want to keep costs down I'd recommend not getting an expensive Dyson. The guarantee is only for 2 years and I've learned the hard way that they're just not worth the money.
I used to have the midi ball Dyson which worked perfectly until it died just after the guarantee ended then bought a cordless version which is just under two years old and has started to have some problems.
I'd buy a cheaper corded vacuum cleaner than another cordless Dyson anyday

I love my cordless V10 (?) Dyson - easy storage, always on charge, so easy to use.

HOWEVER, Henry came out today (again) to do the car in one go, and all the edges/corners/skirting boards of the house.

Can’t beat a Henry IMO !
