Steam cleaners for floors - are they any good?

thinking of getting this
Has anyone got one? are they worth it or just another useless gadget? we have a large travertine tiled kitchen and bathroom floor and I can't bear mopping, plus I always feel that the mop bucket is grubby, so then I find I am on my hands and knees - just too much effort! Will this be the answer to my floor cleaning prayers?

We spent £200 on a carpet ckeaner that also does hard floors and it was one of the best things we have bought. We have 3 kids and a cat. Do I need to say more?

They are fab - you don't need to spend a fortune though. We used it for our Arabic rugs and they came up a treat. need to do them again though - used to have 5 cats, down to 3 now and the rugs suffeed terrible abuse from coughed up hairballs and small animals entrails! Bleurgh!

this one

We have had ours a couple of years or more but it is basically this one.

FWIW lakeland is a fab company and I am sure your choice will be fine.
