Should I take shoes back???

DD1 always has startrite shoes for school but, for the second pair in a row, velcro won't stick. Bought them in September, but still fit her. She can't wear them now because velcro won't stick. This happened last year and I didn't do anything, but am thinking this is a bit unacceptable. Will shop give me new shoes?

No, have cleaned velcro but made no difference. Is three months an acceptable length of time for the life of a 'quality' (???) shoes?
